Answers before you choose, migrate, or scale
Straightforward guidance about plans, billing, migration, performance, security, and getting support.
Choosing and paying for a plan
How do I choose the right plan?
Start with the number of sites, current traffic, storage, platform, and expected growth. If you are migrating, include your present resource usage in the contact form so the team can recommend a practical starting point.
Which currency is used at checkout?
All prices on thrivika.space are displayed and charged in British pounds (GBP). The checkout total is the amount shown for the selected plan.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Contact support before the next renewal and explain whether you need more capacity, fewer resources, or a different term. The team will confirm the available path and any billing adjustment before making a change.
Is there a refund period?
Eligible first-time hosting purchases may be covered by the published refund policy. Review the conditions and exclusions before purchasing, or contact us if your situation is unclear.
Getting your site online
What information is needed for a migration?
Usually we need the current hosting panel or secure transfer method, the domains involved, the application type, database details, email requirements, and a preferred cutover window. Never send passwords in an unencrypted contact message.
Will my domain need to move?
No. A website can normally change hosting while the domain remains with its current registrar. The required DNS records are updated only when the new copy has been tested.
How do I reduce downtime?
Keep the old service active, lower DNS TTL in advance, test the new environment using a temporary URL or hosts-file entry, and schedule the final data sync close to cutover.
Can I install WordPress?
WordPress can be installed on compatible plans. Before launch, configure SSL, backups, updates, caching, and administrator security rather than relying only on the default installation.
Keeping services healthy
What affects website speed most?
Hosting is one part of the result. Theme quality, plugins, database queries, media size, cache configuration, third-party scripts, visitor location, and traffic patterns can all have a major effect.
Are backups still my responsibility?
Maintain at least one backup method you control and test restoration regularly. Provider backups are valuable, but they should not be the only copy of business-critical data.
How should I secure administrator access?
Use unique passwords, multi-factor authentication where available, separate accounts for each person, minimum required permissions, and prompt removal of access that is no longer needed.
Getting useful help quickly
What should I include in a support request?
Describe the affected domain, when the issue started, the expected result, the actual result, recent changes, and any exact error message. Screenshots are useful when they do not expose credentials or personal data.
How do I contact the team?
Use the contact page and select Sales, Migration, Technical support, Billing, or Other. Your message is sent to the website administrator without exposing the destination email publicly.
Can you guarantee a specific application result?
Infrastructure can provide a strong foundation, but application performance and availability also depend on the site code, configuration, external services, maintenance, and traffic profile.
